Each new family needs to visit my home at least one time prior to enrollment. Please call or email in advance to schedule a visit.
Deposits and Registration Fees
Deposit: Your child’s position is reserved upon receipt of one month tuition deposit. This deposit will be applied to the last one month of care. Registration Fee: I require a non-refundable registration fee of $200 to cover administrative costs. Monthly tuition is due on or before the first day of the month. If the tuition is not paid by the second day of each month, there is a $50 late fee on the second day of non-payment, and $50 after that. When a payment is delinquent for three business days or more, care will be suspended until the balance is current and/or your child space will not be reserved. There is $30 fee for all returned checks (non-sufficient funds and closed accounts).
There is no tuition reduction for sick days, individually chosen vacation days, parents conferences, school brak weeks, holidays and inclement weather and emergency closures. Sick or otherwise missed days may not be made up at a later date. If you leave on vacation, please leave a post - dated check to cover tuition and avaid a late fee. If your child is gone for more than a month or mutiple months (i.e., teachers with summer off), in order to hold their spot, a half month tuition will be required. We are unable to trade missed days.
Please note that tuition and fees reflect the ten-month school year, September - June.
Summer programming in July and August is available at an additional weekly rate. Summer program and registration will open in May.
Admission Forms
There are several forms you are required to complete prior to your child’s attendance:
1. Child Care Home Register – This form includes:
- A Consent For Medical Care and Treatment of Minor Children
2. Certificate of Immunization Status (to be updated yearly)
3. Permission Authorization
4. Child Care Agreement
5. Signed policy acknowledgement form
When your child is enrolled, we ask that you provide at least 3 changes of clothes, weather appropriate attire, a nap blanket, wipes and diapers.
It is important that all child records are kept current, please let us know if any contact information changes such as your telephone or address. In addition, if your child changes doctors, physicians, insurance or has an update in immunization, please inform us so that we may update your child’s profile.
Trial Period
The trial period will be 4 weeks. This period is used to observe the child’s adjustment to care and to talk about concerns. I will talk to you daily about your child’s day. Please tell me if you have any concerns. After a 4-week trial period, we will determine if the child care services are satisfactory to everyone. If any problems cannot be resolved, the care is terminated and any unused portion of the child care fee will be refunded.
Liability Insurance
At this moment, we don’t carry any liability insurance.
